This really is a one of a kind opportunity!
This is a registration to enter the draw. Once again this year to be fair to all of our members we are asking you to register first and after registration closes on 30th September 2016 we will draw 30 names from the registrants to decide who will have the opportunity to take part in this great day.
On Monday 12th December 2016 BAPIA (with the fantastic support of Amscan, Qualatex, BOC and others to be confirmed) is sponsoring the décor for the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital Christmas Party and we are offering 30 BAPIA members the opportunity to take part in this class with some great instructors to build fantastic party decor for the children.
This year we will have some additional instructors as Keith & Dom have very generously offered to travel down to be a part of this amazing day. We have increased the number of delegate places as we are also planning to include some work with the Cameo Silhouette, so if you have one and want to get some more experience with it or if you are considering purchasing one then you can gain some valuable experience.
This is now our 4th year organising this event decor and it has proven to also be a great networking opportunity for the delegates both during the class and afterwards as we all relax with a drink.
Delegates will have access to photographs of the completed décor for use in their own portfolio.
This is no ordinary party décor, due to allergy concerns for some of the youngsters, we are restricted to using only non-latex balloons and the décor will have to survive 4 separate parties over the following 2 days. As some children cannot leave the hospital they will not be able to attend the parties, so we have to make some of the décor moveable so the staff and volunteers can “take the party to the children” afterwards.
This party is supported not only by some of the country’s top companies but is always attended by an array of celebrities (who take 2nd place to Santa) and we want to make sure that this party is the best decorated in town!

There will be a charge of £35 for the day. This will also include a Pizza lunch and refreshments. Any funds left-over will then be donated to GOSH along with a single donation from BAPIA.
This is a 100% charitable event with all goods and services for the décor supplied free of charge.
This class is NOT suitable for beginners, all delegates must have attended a basic/fundamental balloon course as a minimum.

*Due to unconfirmed room availability it is possible that we may have to install final décor after 6pm but it is hoped that the room will be available to us all day. Confirmation is expected 2 weeks prior)
